Terms of Service
Last updated: May 29, 2026
By using Omekolo you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.
1. What Omekolo is
Omekolo is a personal habit and goal tracker delivered over WhatsApp. We send you prompts, you reply with your check-ins, and we summarise your progress weekly. The service is provided “as is” with reasonable care but without warranty of uninterrupted availability.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You must use a WhatsApp number you own and control.
3. Your account
Your WhatsApp phone number is your account. You are responsible for everything that happens through it. If your number is reassigned or compromised, message us so we can lock the account.
4. Subscription, billing, and trial
- New users start with a 7-day free trial. No payment is collected until the trial ends.
- After the trial, the service costs USD 5 per month (or the local-currency equivalent set by the payment processor).
- Payment is taken in advance for the next monthly period via PayPal or Razorpay. The subscription auto-renews until you cancel.
- If a payment fails, we will retry per the processor’s standard schedule. If it continues to fail, your account is suspended.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time by replying STOP or PAUSE on WhatsApp, or by cancelling the subscription directly in your PayPal or Razorpay dashboard. Your access continues until the end of the current paid period.
6. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Omekolo for anything illegal, harmful, or abusive.
- Send content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or that infringes the rights of others.
- Attempt to break, probe, or overload our systems, or use Omekolo to send spam through WhatsApp.
- Resell or repackage the service or use it on behalf of third parties without our written consent.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, without refund, and report serious abuse to law enforcement.
8. Content you send
You keep ownership of the messages, goals, and check-ins you send. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to process them only to run the service for you (including sending them to our service providers listed in the Privacy Policy).
9. Service availability
We aim to keep Omekolo running reliably but we do not guarantee any specific uptime. The WhatsApp / Twilio network is outside our control. A missed prompt or a delayed message is not a breach of this agreement.
10. Disclaimer
Omekolo is a productivity tool. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or financial advice. If you are dealing with a health crisis, please contact a qualified professional.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
12. Changes to the service or these Terms
We may change the service, the price, or these Terms. If a change is material we will notify you via WhatsApp at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you don’t agree, cancel before the change date.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, India, except where local consumer protection law requires otherwise.
