Can I use Omekolo for mental-health goals?

Yes — many people use Omekolo to build mental-health habits like meditation, therapy check-ins, or mood tracking. However, Omekolo is not a substitute for professional mental-health treatment. If you’re in crisis or experiencing a mental-health emergency, please contact a qualified mental-health professional or a local crisis helpline.

How is Omekolo different from other habit or goal-tracking apps?
Most apps track habits. Omekolo builds them. The difference is accountability. When you have a coach waiting for you, you show up — not because you love the work, but because someone expects you. Over time, that expectation turns into a routine that runs on its own. Willpower becomes automatic: you don’t have to fight yourself anymore, you just do it. Friends are great but they cancel; Omekolo doesn’t. A daily check-in is small, but it’s the mechanism that turns “I want to run 5× a week” into “I just run 5× a week.”
Why WhatsApp instead of a native app?
Three reasons. First, you already have WhatsApp open — no new app to install or remember. Second, a conversation feels more natural than a form. Third, you can’t accidentally delete the conversation the way you might uninstall an app. WhatsApp is where the habit lives.
Is my data sent to AI companies? What happens to it?
Yes. When you send a check-in, the relevant snippets are sent over encrypted HTTPS to Anthropic’s Claude API and, for some operations, Groq. Data retention by those providers is governed by their own terms of service. We do not opt in to model training with your conversations. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
What if I miss a day? Will my streak reset?
Missing one day doesn’t reset your streak — Omekolo nudges you to get back on track. A few consecutive misses will pause it. You can restart any time by checking in again. This is deliberate: we want to catch lapses early, not punish them.
Can I pause or cancel my subscription?
Yes, both. Send PAUSE to stop check-ins without cancelling, or STOP to cancel entirely. Either way you can reactivate by messaging Omekolo again. No penalties, no questions asked. For refunds, see our Refund Policy.
How often will Omekolo message me?
Once a day, around the check-in time you set during onboarding (in your timezone). If you don’t check in, you get a gentle reminder later that day. That’s it — no marketing messages, no surprise nudges in the middle of the night. Use PAUSE or STOP to change that any time.
Will Omekolo spam me or sell my number?
No. Your phone number is only used to send you messages from Omekolo. We never share it, sell it, or use it for marketing. We’re a coach, not a marketing platform. The full data practice is documented in our Privacy Policy.
What's included in the weekly review?
A short, honest summary of what you actually did that week. For example:

“Last week you hit your 5×/week run goal 3 times. Missed Tuesday and Wednesday. Longest current streak: meditation, 12 days. Next week, aim for consistency on the run — Tuesday is typically where you slip.”

The review is AI-generated but built from your actual check-ins, not generic advice.
What payment methods do you accept?
It depends on where you are.

Global (US, UK, Europe, etc.): PayPal — USD 5/month.
India: Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking) — approximately ₹420/month, set by Razorpay’s INR/USD rate.

Both come with a 7-day free trial. No card details required to start the trial.
How does the 7-day free trial work?
When you first message Omekolo, you get 7 days free. No card needed. On day 8 you choose to subscribe or cancel. If you subscribe and want a refund within 14 days, you’ve got it — no questions. See the Refund Policy for the full rules.
How do refunds work?
First month: 14 days from your first paid charge to ask for a refund. No questions asked.

After the first month: Monthly fees are non-refundable, but if Omekolo is unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours due to a failure on our side, we’ll prorate that month and refund the affected portion on request.

Can I get my data, or ask you to delete it?
Yes. Send MY DATA to receive a copy of everything we have about you (goals, check-ins, streak history). Send DELETE MY DATA and we’ll erase your account within 30 days, except billing and audit records we’re legally required to keep (typically up to 7 years for tax law). Same 30-day deletion applies if you cancel and don’t come back. See Privacy Policy §4 & §5.
What if Omekolo doesn't work for me?
You get 14 days from your first paid charge to ask for a full refund (see Refund Policy). If something else is in the way, email support@omekolo.com and we’ll work it out. We’re not trying to trap anyone — we want Omekolo to work for you, and if it doesn’t, that’s on us.
