You don’t have to start with a habit
Omekolo used to assume everyone showed up to build a habit. That was never quite true — plenty of people just wanted a to-do list that actually nags them, or somewhere to journal, or help staying on schedule for an exam. Now the first message you send decides where you start.
Say what you actually want, from the first message
Tell Omekolo you want to track tasks, or journal, or study for something specific, and that’s exactly where onboarding takes you — not a detour through habit-goal setup first. If you want habit coaching, that’s still there and still the default for anyone who doesn’t say otherwise.
Habit coaching is offered, never forced
After you’re set up with just a to-do list or just journaling, Omekolo will ask, once, if you’d also like habit tracking. Say no and that’s the end of it — you’re not asked again every few days. Say yes later, anytime, in plain words, and it starts properly instead of bolting on a half-set-up goal.
Changed your mind mid-onboarding? Just say so
Started answering questions about your to-do list and realised you actually want the full habit-coaching experience? Say so mid-flow — Omekolo picks up on the change and moves you over, instead of making you finish one setup just to start another from scratch.
One number, whatever you need it for
The point isn’t that habits stopped mattering — it’s that not everyone messaging Omekolo needs them on day one. Come for the to-do list, stay for the accountability, or the other way around. Either way, it’s the same WhatsApp number and the same conversation.
